GLITCH BREAKS

GLITCH BREAKS are audiovisual remix artworks derived from a physical MUSIC GRAFFITI painting using the FEEDBACK LOOPS methodology.

A painting is scanned into digital format, which is then re-scanned using visual synthesis to create an audio signature or call-sign - which (qualitatively) determines the musical key of the original painting.

This key signature is then combined with a suite of audio stems in the same key to create an aural PHREAK MUSIC soundscape.

The 250gsm Art Prints are single frames selected from the full digital soundscape art work. They are available to purchase at the bottom of this page.
